About Dr. Simone Blaney
Following a comprehensive diagnostic assessment, I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques focused on early intervention, learning skills to create change, and coping with upcoming challenges. I work collaboratively, and seek to provide best practice and up-to-date interventions to achieve and strive for support across home, school, and community. I have a special interest and extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders, ADHD, and anxiety disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults. I have also provided support to parents of young people with various mental health concerns and worked with adults with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and relationship difficulties. After completing my clinical training (Masters of Clinical Psychology/PhD) in Australia, I have two decades of experience in providing care for young people and adults. I work in private practice and have recently returned to Sydney, Australia, having worked and made Hong Kong my home for the past 17 years (2005-2022). I continue to visit Hong Kong on a regular basis. Referrals : Unfortunately, I am not accepting referrals at this time. However, I am available for supervision for psychologists and counsellors, referral consultation to other providers, and provision of education and training activities.
