Dr. Simone Blaney - Clinical Psychologist
Simone is AHPRA registered clinical psychologist, who is passionate about enhancing the emotional well-being of young people and their families and has over two decades of experience. She approaches her therapeutic work with an empathic, warm, encouraging, and compassionate style, aimed at helping children, adolescents, young adults and their families develop the best life possible and striving towards meaningful long term change and growth.
Simone provides assessment, treatment and clinical care coordination for children, adolescents, and young adults across a range of difficulties:

Assessment, Diagnosis & Treatment - children, adolescents and young adultsThe first step in healing is an accurate assessment and diagnosis, leading to a comprehensive plan for treatment. Dr. Blaney is highly experienced in assessment and trained in all psycho-educational and psychopathology assessment measures. She brings decades of clinical experience to her formulation, offering a detailed, comprenshive, and holistic approach to guide therapeutic approach.

Case Co-ordination and Support for familiesWhen a child, adolescent, or young adult is struggling with their well a team is often needed. Dr. Blaney strives to have families involved in their child's care and also case coordination linking with other professionals such as GPs, psychiatrists, paediatricians, other providers (dietitians, occupational therapists). She also links up with school counsellors, pastoral care, and teachers. When necessary, Dr. Blaney will assist in referrals to other specialist services.

Supervision for PsychologistsDr. Blaney is a Board Approved Supervisor and offers supervision to psychologists, school counsellors, and therapists. These can be provided in Sydney or online via Tele-health to health professionals in Australia and abroad.
